Every month we have at least one movie night for Expats. It may seem nice to study or work abroad, but the loneliness is really enormous. With the movie nights, we try to do something about that, very practically.
The movie night gives them a night of rest and a safe place to tell their story if they want to.
That also leads to new contacts that can be seen in the therapy sessions if necessary. And unfortunately… too often it is badly needed.
Yesterday we had another movie night, and let’s put it this way… it was much needed…
