Walking roots
With my flight to Poland I lost quite a few roots. Some are still long, but most have become considerably shorter. They are looking for new ground… There are not so many leaves in the tree anymore…”
While drawing, she has to think of roots that move, in time, to places where they find water. They have long roots from the top of the tree that look for water in the soil. This is her main root, she says.
“I am” she wrote.

“Everywhere I go, I take myself with me. That is actually my biggest resource.”
What a wonderful insight. Experiences, life lessons, qualities and memories. They all go with us wherever we go.
