People “move on”. And that is beautiful, exciting and challenging sometimes.
A recurring phenomenon on this side is saying goodbye to people. We “travel” with them for a while and then they move on. Not only literally (some go back to their “home” country or travel on to another country), but also figuratively.
We helped them a little bit to be able to “walk” independently again and now that they can walk again, they “disappear” behind the horizon to their next destination.

And although that (saying goodbye) is sometimes quite difficult to deal with ourselves, it is also beautiful to see. Some could no longer “walk” independently when they came to us for the first time. And now, sometimes weeks, sometimes months, sometimes years later… they did succeed! And how! Yes, learning to “walk” again costs them energy, but it has made them more beautiful, more powerful and we learned a lot during that time.
Do we sometimes find letting go challenging? Yes. Often we see it coming (he is ready, he will fly out one of these days), sometimes it comes unexpectedly due to circumstances and that is sometimes challenging indeed. Have we been able to give them enough, can they handle it? The outside world is not always neatly paved. On the contrary. But after walking with them for a while, and we gave them some tools to move on, the moment has finally arrived: On to a new day… beautiful, exciting and challenging at the same time when we see it happening.
