Intimacy
We begin the therapy session by focusing on needs.
Then, we do a drawing exercise where a word is transformed into movement, form, force, and speed of drawing for 2 minutes—resulting in an abstract piece. In the same way, we work through a feeling that matches the chosen need and its opposite. These two A3 sheets must now be combined into a new artwork.
She chooses the need for intimacy.
She feels alone, closed like a flower bud, as shown in the first drawing.
She wants to bloom, reach out, be in touch with others, connected.

These two different pieces are completely cut out and combined into a new artwork.

In addition to the two pieces created about the lack of intimacy and the experience of intimacy, various other colors and shapes are added.
This creates a beautiful whole made up of different aspects that are interconnected and touch each other.
Her wish is that her flower bud will find itself in such an environment, where it can open up and fully bloom.
