Easter project
Easter is the most powerful and beautiful Christian holiday of the year for me.
It’s a time to reflect on Jesus’ life, on everything He taught His disciples during His three years of ministry on earth—and through them, to us as well! On the incredible sacrifice He had to make to open a way for us humans to come to God. And on the victory He won over the sin that we, as humans, brought into this world.
How badly we messed things up—and how we still do! There’s nothing we can do to make ourselves good enough to stand before God. The only way to God is through Jesus Christ! And that’s exactly what Easter is about—the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made so that, in Him, we can come to God!
To share this message with others, we made cards that show both sides of Easter. On one side, Christ on the cross; on the other, the empty tomb—because Christ conquered death and rose again!
In the Catholic Church, Christ is still hanging on the cross. That always makes me sad. Because that wasn’t the end. It was the end of His earthly ministry, but the beginning of a new era—where we can come to God through Him!
We sent these cards to the street church in Poznań, so they can use them at Easter to show the difference between Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
