Clogs for protection
It’s always fun to share something from our culture with other cultures. In the Netherlands, we searched for little clogs in second-hand shops. Over time, we’ve gathered a nice and diverse collection. We gave them out to the Ukrainian house group.
In everything we do, we want to show a bit of who God is. So, even with these clogs.
Clogs protect your feet outdoors from stones and hard things under your feet.
Banging your toes? With clogs on, that’s no longer a problem!
Psalm 91:4
With His feathers He will protect you,
and under His wings you will find refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and rampart.
Let these clogs be a symbol of the protection we receive from God, that every time you see these clogs, you will remember that God is your ultimate protection! That you can always find refuge in Him, and that He is faithful and will never leave you alone.
