Be faithful.
As humans, we often think we need to do more, more, more. But is that true? Let’s be honest, we might want more and more, but is that always healthy? And we can put a lot of pressure on (for example) a garden, but the growth of a tree, sports club, church, or person takes time. Sometimes, a lot of time.
Imagine you plant a tree… from seed to tree takes years. And even that tree, while it grows, needs water, growth substances, and attention.

You need to be faithful and reliable in your work, and that may seem normal, easy, and natural… but try doing it! And maybe… we should appreciate the people who work faithfully behind the scenes a bit more. We quickly forget them in the rush of everyday life… Maybe it’s time to send them a card or give them a call?
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. (1 Corinthians 4:1-2)
That is already a huge task in itself. Day after day, month after month, year after year. Because only when you are faithful, will a beautiful tree, sports club, church, or person eventually come out of it.
