We are often asked about the origin of the name “Emmy” for our foundation. It’s an understandable question, as it’s not a common personal name within our team. However, the name “Emmy” carries a deeper meaning that is directly connected to our mission and core values.
The name of our foundation is a tribute to a unique bicycle, nicknamed “Emmy.” After World War II, this bicycle was specially designed by the director of the Primarius bicycle factory for his daughter, Emmy. Its most distinctive feature was the longer, curved front fork—an innovation that significantly improved the bike’s stability. In this way, the father ensured that his daughter could ride safely and with confidence.

Our logo—featuring the front wheel of this iconic bicycle with its characteristic fork—directly symbolizes the stability we aim to offer our clients. The spokes of the wheel represent the various directions and groups of people we support. Every part of our logo stands for the strength and versatility with which we guide individuals.
Just as the curved front fork gave the “Emmy” bicycle its stability, the Emmy Foundation strives to provide stability for you when you need it most.
Life sometimes throws unexpected challenges our way. Setbacks can shake your foundation—sometimes so deeply that it feels like you’ve lost all grip.

When you realize you can’t face it alone, we are here for you. We offer practical support, guidance, and a helping hand to get you back on your feet. Our aim is to help restore your personal stability so you can once again stand firm and move forward with renewed confidence.
The foundation of all our work is our faith in God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. This faith is our unshakable foundation—the solid ground upon which we build. We are inspired by Biblical principles of care, compassion, and resilience.
We believe that by building one’s life on a solid foundation—with Jesus Christ as the cornerstone—a person becomes resilient against life’s storms. Just as the “Emmy” bicycle was designed for stability, we seek to support people in building an unshakable foundation for their own lives.
This principle is powerfully reflected in Psalm 18:36 (NASB):
“You enlarge my steps under me, And my feet have not slipped.”
This verse reflects our deepest desire: just as God makes a firm path, we too want to help you stand strong in your own life, unshaken by circumstances.
