We’re 100 years old and saying goodbye…
Yesterday, we celebrated our birthday together! We’re turning 100 together. 🙂 A perfect moment to celebrate with everyone.
Though, celebrating this time felt a bit different. It wasn’t just our “100 years” party but also our farewell to many people in Poznań whom we won’t see again after today. So bittersweet… The living room was packed, the kitchen was full, and even the therapy room was filled with visitors… and today, we had to say goodbye to most of them…
The party was a lot like the life we’ve had here in Poznań: people from all cultures and languages mixed together, feeling at home in our place, sharing so many stories… For many, it probably looked like chaos. For us, it was a truly wonderful kind of chaos—connected with everyone, memories built and shared, people from different parts of our lives coming together and getting to know each other. So beautiful! And so hard to let go…
We took a photo with everyone, and they each got a copy to remember us by. Later, in our new home, we’ll make a collage of all those photos so we can remember them too and pray for them… We’re really going to miss them… ;-(

We are going to miss you more!
It will be sad.. but we will see each other again!
