The Polish Language. :-)

We often get asked how the Polish language is. Is it easy to learn? We tell them the following joke:

During the building of the Tower of Babel (the story from the Bible) every nation got its own language. Every nation stood in line waiting for its language, and at the very back were the Poles. When they arrived, there was no language left. So when they asked for their language, there was non…. But luckily, there were still leftovers on the floor that had fallen from the table. That was swept up and given to the Poles. Good luck with that. 🙂
