Saying goodbye with a duvet…

Today, we sadly had to say goodbye to some very dear friends. We’ve known them for almost three years now, and we’ve experienced and learned so much together… through both good times and hard times. Soon, we’ll be moving to another country, while they’ve just relocated within Poland to an entirely new place, where they’re making (yet again) a fresh start.

Was taking that new step easy for them? No… and they could definitely use some practical help to make that move.

During our last visit, we were able to provide them with some support. New duvet covers for the children, clothes, towels, plates, and other practical items.

And after offering that practical help, we had a good meal together, shared a meaningful conversation, and said our goodbyes… We will miss them deeply, but we know they are in God’s good hands. That brings peace, despite the human sense of loss…
