When you read this, we will be on the road in the evening or the middle of the night, heading towards the Netherlands, among other destinations. It’s a trip we’re not looking forward to. We’re driving at night because the border between Poland and Germany is chaotic (flooding, many border crossings are closed, a state of emergency, and the standard border checks are already unpleasant), along with other issues that we’re not thrilled about (but can’t share online). Nevertheless, we’re on our way. And how wonderful it is that, just before our departure, we checked the mailbox and found this card from the Netherlands:
