Mail from South Korea!
After all the years in Poznan, we can look back with gratitude on all the people we spoke with and for whom we were able to be more than just passers-by.
Like a group of Korean students who we had visiting here for a few months. They came for the movie night and stayed for the Bible studies.
Bible studies that were sometimes quite tough. “What does God want from me”, “what is love from a biblical perspective” and so on with even more tough topics. They were allowed to choose those themselves a week in advance and the week after, we ran a Bible study with the topic they had chosen.
But sadly… their university studies were over… and they had to go back home. And then what? How are they doing now? They are doing great! Today we received mail from South Korea. With bags of Korean chips. But especially a few cards with written on them what they have learned, how they are doing now and what they are doing now (with what they have learned on this side).
We miss them terribly, but also know that they have landed well.
