Loneliness is the biggest problem…

Today I spoke with a boy from Asia who studies here in Poland. It wasn’t easy for him. The money ran out, buying food started to become a problem and the studies were not going great. All in all, it was not sunny…

When I asked him if that was his biggest problem, the answer was “no”. The biggest problem is loneliness. We go to school three days a week and the rest of the days… sometimes I’m alone in my room all day. I don’t speak to anyone.

Loneliness. A huge problem, and not just on this side of the globe.

Loneliness. The solution is not that complicated. Together, we can solve that. Who are you going to invite for coffee, lunch, a movie, or church today?

What are we doing about it on this side of the globe? Simple things. A movie night, a games night, a Bible study every week, we invite people for lunch. It’s little things that can make the world more beautiful. It reduces their loneliness, we meet new friends and have a lot of fun doing it.
