Green light! We’re moving.

Imagine you’re driving, and you see the traffic light change from green to yellow. It’s not red yet, but what do you do? Do you speed up, slam on the brakes, or do you anticipate what’s coming?

Ideally, you would anticipate the yellow light and take appropriate action. That’s exactly what we did. As you have noticed in some of our previous posts, a number of signals gradually turned yellow in Poland. They weren’t red yet, but they clearly indicated that it was time to anticipate and prepare.

The calling, mission, and vision we have received from God have been consistently reaffirmed, making it clear that we must, 100%, continue the work we are doing.

However, where we do that work required some changes before we found ourselves facing a red light. A red light would not be good. Not only to our target groups, but also to ourselves.

While the traffic lights at our location in Poland were gradually turning yellow, in Germany, they switched to a bright green.

The open doors and green lights we’ve encountered in Germany over the past few months have been unmistakably clear. While our mission and vision remain unchanged, the location where we carry out our work will be shifting to Schwerin, Germany. We have already established several promising connections with existing organizations there. Although many of these organizations operate in different fields, it has been a blessing to witness such clear green lights over the past months.

We have now secured an apartment in Schwerin and hope to move by mid-December, with plans to begin our work at the new location on January 1st, continuing the same activities we currently perform.

In the coming months, we will take the time to wrap up our work in Poland with care and wisdom. Some of our clients will transition with us to the new location (as they are already receiving remote support or will begin to do so), others will be handed over to colleagues, and for a few, we are still seeking a suitable, new solution for their future. We are grateful for the time we have to make these arrangements.

The groundwork for our activities in Germany has already begun. Although this transition presents challenges in managing everything smoothly, we trust that, step by step, we will emerge from this period of change. This transition also has financial implications, and we are praying that God touches the hearts of people to support us financially and through prayer.

In other words, we were already quite busy, and things are about to get even busier. But this will lead us forward on the green path that God has clearly laid out for us. We’ll keep you updated!

(And no… we are not exactly looking forward to the massive amount of things we need to organize to make this happen, but we know that this is God’s way, and it will all work out for His Glory.)
