Farewell after 100 weeks….

On March 21, 2022, we met them for the first time in Poland. We just arrived from the Netherlands, they had just fled from Ukraine and arrived in Poland. Mom and dad, seven children, grandma. And that was it. The children were completely exhausted, mom and dad had no idea what had just happened, some shopping bags with clothes. And that was it…

And now, 100 weeks later, they are not going back to Ukraine, but they are moving on… to Canada… a next step… With way more energy than when they arrived in Poland, but still… what a step…

A step in faith, a step in trusting God, but still a very exciting step. We will miss them immensely, it was a blessing to know them as brothers and sisters.

The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.
