Dutch “gourmetten” with the street church

As you may have read, Esther plays the saxophone at the street church in town on Thursdays. But who are those people, and who are we to begin with?

A nice way to get acquainted is “old Dutch gourmet meals”. Always chaos, always a table that is far too full (and in this case, we needed two gourmet sets given the number of visitors), always fun! So we did that a while ago.

Yes, you can, of course, have a very formal cup of coffee together to get acquainted, but this works so much better. Relaxed, fiddling around with those pots and pans, everything always goes haywire because how else do you get your food (yes, M steals someone else’s food all the time) and meanwhile, sharing some stories about who is who, what, why and more. A great way to get to know this team that is doing great things!

Now we just have to clean up and in a few days the Gourmet smell in the house will be gone… we hope. 🙂
