Weekend Recap: “Breathing Out”: When God Builds

It was a busy weekend, during which we prepared the retreat for women involved in mission work. And how much we accomplished!

A team that did not yet know each other, meeting for the first time and getting acquainted, and then immediately shaping the content of a very long weekend for missionary women—learning about the target group, thinking about how everything comes together and fits, and adjusting the program until a consistent whole emerges.
And all of that in just a day and a half!

What a blessing to be able to work with people who actively seek God, delight in His life lessons, and want to grow in depth and skills. So different, yet complementing one another. All carrying a considerable backpack of life experience.

For me (E), this was once again such an example of when God is building something. When you see it, you do not understand it. You would never have brought all these people together yourself or even found them.
And they all seem like separate stones.

But God knows everyone, brought each person in at the right time, and is the cement between the stones. And it fits perfectly!
Wow!

In the coming weeks, details will be shaped and the content of the weekend will be further developed.

I am already looking forward to seeing this team again!
