We are 6 years old! #party

Today, the Emmy Foundation (Stichting Emmy, officially in Dutch) turns 6. Hooray! That means we’ve actually been on this journey for over 6.5 years. Those first six months of planning, organizing, and dealing with the notary count for us too, especially since we were already busy helping our target groups back then. (Though we didn’t “shout it from the rooftops” at the time… shhh, don’t tell anyone!)

What an incredible time it’s been so far. We’ve been able to help so many people and see so many lives change for the better; it’s truly special to experience all of that together with you.

And let’s be honest: not everything we do is a walk in the park. On the contrary. In Poland, we aged five years for every year that passed, and in Germany, each year has cost us at least two years of our lives, and we definitely feel it. But when you see the results… it’s time to celebrate.

We are grateful for this path, for all the support in every shape and form, and for The Guidance that has made all of this possible.
