Very special donations…..from very special people..

Today we received a mountain of very special donations.. and not only the things are special, also where they come from is special…

The situation on our eastern border is far from stable, and that is why we also have soldiers from other countries here in the city (and in the country). And we are not talking about a few, but way more than that.

They are all here temporarily, and that also means that they will leave after a while. But not everything they have collected here during that time can always be taken with them. And what do you do with those things? Well… we can use them! Yes please!

To give you an example:

The shoes have now been personally handed over to a homeless person, the T-shirts have gone to a number of people, the hot plate has been given to refugees from country X, the bottles of water have been distributed between expats for movie nights and the homeless, the water gun has been given to children who had nothing more than just their clothes, the soap went to the homeless shelter (if you can even speak of a “shelter”…), the puzzles were used for therapy sessions and the lunchboxes are also used for therapy sessions. And those are just a few of the many examples.

So, they are items with a special background, which are now being used again for a new special story. A huge blessing to many, to say the least.
