The balls of wool and the hippo.

With all the materials we got from our sponsors, we also run a craft group. And it’s so much fun!
It’s a relaxed atmosphere where there’s time for good conversations, tips and tricks are shared, and everyone gets inspired by each other’s ideas and gets help when needed.

A new project is started, balls of wool or cotton are picked out, a pattern is found, and together they’ve begun working on the hippo. We have everything ready for them—wool, knitting needles—and they can get started right away.

By now, two hippos are finished—cherished by the children in the family. A third hippo has been started.

Meanwhile, fingerless gloves, clothing items, bags, and blankets have also been started and completed. The results are shared within the group, to the great excitement of participants and followers in the app group, sparking new ideas for future projects.
