No-people-day.
Wednesday… what a day. Such conversations. Such stories. What misery some people carry with them. What are we doing to each other.
Thursday the same.
Friday the same.
Saturday the same.
Sunday the same.
Monday, ditto.
Today I’m taking a “no-people-day.” I don’t want to see anyone, speak to anyone, or hear anyone today. No stories, no pain, no grief. Just nothing. Just silence. Just breathing, detached from everything I’ve heard. Tomorrow a new day begins, but today… today there is only nothing. Only nothingness.
