“Man do not worry”. The game…
A new activity that we do is a games evening. The concept is simple: come, bring a friend, and we’ll set up some games. (and chips+ of course. 🙂 )
This time we played “Man don’t worry” (translated from Dutch into English, and it’s a typical Dutch game that everybody knows) and played Jenga… with a twist…

We made a special Jenga game (the game where you make a tower with blocks) and we wrote down questions on the blocks. Not all blocks have a question on them, some do have one on them, and it remains a surprise what you get as a question or assignment during the game.
- How old do you want to become and why?
- What part of your character would you like to change about yourself?
- What is your favorite music?
- You have to do the dishes today.
- What is your greatest wish?
- What are you dreading on?
- Etc, etc.

A great way to make new friends and start conversations that are really about something, without putting a lot of pressure on it. Some questions are simple, others you really need to think about and provide tools to go into them in more depth later if necessary.
This time we had people from Uganda, India, Belgium and Ukrainian visiting, which makes it a cultural treat to see. More than successful!
