Insecure?
She is here for the very first time, she feels insecure. That’s one of the feeling cards she chose, and it’s about how she feels now. She chooses this emotion to continue working with, in the form of a fish.
She uses quivering lines, big eyes, an insecure mouth and a small fish in a big ocean.
The fish needs time, she says. Time to adapt to the new situation, time to feel at home in a new place. She draws a clock.

When I ask her why the fish is drawn at the top left, she doesn’t really know.
If I were to draw an uncertain fish, I would draw it at the bottom or small in the middle, surrounded by unfamiliarity.
But her fish doesn’t dive away, rises to the challenge and is already well on its way, it seems. Surprised, she looks at her piece of work again and a big smile appears on her face.
