Flooding….

In the night from Monday to Tuesday, a large dam collapsed near the Ukrainian city of Nova Kakhovka. Thousands of people had to leave their homes because of the flooding caused by the dam burst.

What do we notice on this side? It has a huge impact. There are plenty of examples, buses with refugees that drive back and forth, clients whose man still worked in Ukraine, but is immediately unemployed (the factory is flooded), people who started thinking about “maybe ill be able to go back some day”, see that dream fall apart and much, much more…

The tension is extremely high, the desperation is enormous, how far can it go and when will it end for me too… those are the “normal” conversations this week…
