Chalk scribbles with content
Today in the therapy session we made chalk scribbles. Four sheets of paper, four colors of chalk. Make a crayon scribble on each sheet with its own color without thinking. Then you finish them all with the remaining three colors. This can be abstract, or maybe you see something in the chalk scribble, and you want it to highlight it.
When the drawings are ready, I have each sheet given a title. And the four titles are then processed together in one sentence.
This drawing is entitled: Chaos.
She says that this drawing unexpectedly fits very well with where she is now in her life.
It feels like one big chaos, in which she takes steps towards a future with light. The surfaces are colored in with different colors: all experiences and events that have happened. The green areas form a kind of route on which she is now. It’s not all dark and sad, hence the large yellow area.

She is pleasantly surprised with the result. What started as a crayon scribble now shows what her life looks likeā¦
And yes, it’s quite a mess, but she’s on her way and that gives her hope and confidence for the future.
