“Business”trip coming up!

We are going on a working visit soon! Where to? To the Patchwork Center in Schwerin – Germany.

For one week, we will provide art therapy daily to two groups in two languages (!).
Firstly, to the volunteers of the patchwork center itself and for the local residents of Schwerin. Secondly, to refugees from Ukraine who live in Schwerin. And while we’re there, we also participate in some other activities.

The Patchwork Center is a fascinating place, which M knows from his travels through Europe. For me (E) it will be the first time I meet them in person. It is a special place in a deprived neighborhood in Schwerin. A community center where people from the neighborhood meet each other in different ways. Activities are organized by and for local residents, meals are available for a small price, people work in the sewing corner and wood workshop and made things are sold. There are activities for children, teenagers and adults. There is a Bible study, a music evening, teen group and so on.

It will be a busy, but beautiful week, and we are looking forward to it!!!
