Are you seeking?

Every Wednesday afternoon a Bible study is organized. The invitations handed out for it are a folded sheet of paper with all the details and a Bible verse.
After starting my craft group, ‘Biblical Crafts for Adults,’ the question came up: Could you maybe make a cover for the invitation? A card with the Bible verse on it? Then I can put the invitation inside, and hopefully people will keep the card in their cupboard and remember that there is a Bible study they can come to.

A beautiful assignment we thought about together.

The text used comes from Jeremiah 29:13:

“You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

Together we thought about what that means and how we can depict that on the card. We came up with a labyrinth. Because seeking God is a task, something that takes effort, an action, doing your best, and not giving up when you don’t see Him.

And then the promise that when you seek God and ask Him with all your heart, you will find Him. He is there, even if you didn’t see Him at first.

Are you seeking along? In every situation, with every question that comes to mind?
Are you seeking God and learn from Him?
